The app keeps growing, gently. Here's what's landed lately, newest first — no version-speak, just the things you can actually do now.
You both win
Inviting a friend now rewards both of you
When a friend joins with your code and hatches their pet, you both get the Little Treats reward, not just you. Referral links also keep their credit all the way through sign-up.
Smaller fixes: the weekly shelf rotates again, squad sizes match what you're shown, and a few rough edges around sign-in and the shop are smoothed out.
Member perks
Plus members get their monthly Big Treats, and new pets arrive dressed
Plus members now receive their monthly Big Treats allowance. A grant that wasn't landing before is now credited automatically.
Every new pet starts out already wearing the free Sunlit coat, so a fresh hatchling never shows up bare.
More shop polish: the weekly shelf's everyday pick is buyable with Little Treats, and items preview on your own pet instead of always a capybara.
Back in stock
The shop is fully stocked again
Every hat, pair of glasses, scarf, outfit, scene, and aura is buyable with Little Treats again. A gap had left some items showing a price but quietly refusing to sell, so the treats you earn now spend on everything they should.
Inviting a friend pays you reliably, even when they enter your code after setting up their pet rather than during sign-up.
A few smaller fixes: daily events show the exact reward you will get, the shop no longer shows blank item pictures, and member-only weekly picks say so up front instead of dead-ending.
Your pet, now in Discord
Run your whole day from Discord, and take items off in the closet
The Discord bot does the whole loop now. Run /myworkpet in your server to check on your pet, add and finish tasks, feed it, send it on an adventure, and browse your treasures, all without leaving Discord.
Coming from Discord and new here? The connect link walks you through signing in and adopting your first pet, then sends you right back to your server.
Add MyWorkPet to your own Discord server, get a /myworkpet-help guide anyone can read, and pick a channel where new release notes show up on their own.
You can take cosmetics off now. Every wearable in the closet has a None option, so you can unequip a hat or change your mind without getting stuck on something you can't afford.
First Beta
The whole outfit, the whole gang, and a warmer welcome
Your pet wears its whole outfit at once now. Layer on a hat, glasses, and a scarf and they all show up together, on any of the ten pets.
Six coat colors, free for everyone. Recolor your pet whenever you like, no treats needed.
The whole gang turned up. Every group scene across the site now features all ten pets, not just the first six.
A warmer front door, with an illustrated sign-in and a desk that fills out the whole window on a bigger screen.
Checkout is open for testing while we finish wiring up payments, so you can try the whole flow with nothing charged for real yet.
New friends + the weekly shelf
Four new pets to adopt, and a shelf that changes every week
Four new friends joined the lineup — a dragon, a frog, a water bear, and a dino — each with the full set of colorways to make your own.
The shop has a new weekly shelf: a handful of featured finds that rotate in and out, here for a week and then gone.
Opened a little reading nook — a blog and this what's-new page — so there's always a bit more of the world to wander into.
The care loop
Feed your pet, teach it tricks, and find your squad
Your pet now comes home from its adventures hungry — feeding it is how you get it ready for the next trip. A free snack always covers it, with tastier upgrades if you want them.
Pet it, play a quick game, and share small daily rituals for little boosts — finishing your real tasks is still the main way to earn.
Teach your pet tricks over time — small skills it picks up from showing up alongside you.
Squads are here. Team up with a few friends, see each other's pets, and root for each other's good days.
Affiliates are here — share the app with friends and get credit for everyone who joins through you.
Big Treats are now a paid-only perk, so the everyday loop stays free and generous while the splashy extras have a home.
Adventures, your way
Send your pet on an adventure whenever you're ready
You're in charge of the send-off now. Tap to send your pet into the land on your schedule instead of waiting on a timer.
Adventures run about five hours, then your pet wanders home with a treasure from a day you showed up.
Your pet takes a breather between trips, so adventures feel like a rhythm rather than a grind — no guilt, ever.
A live progress bar and countdown on the home screen so you can watch the trip unfold.
Learn the ropes
A friendlier first day, with a guide for everything
New "How it works" guide that walks you through the whole loop — pets, adventures, treasures, and the one law (no guilt, ever).
Little info dots and gentle coachmarks across the app point things out the first time you land on a screen.
A short, treasure-forward intro before you pick your pet, so the world makes sense before you dive in.
Your tips and what-you've-seen now sync across devices, so the app doesn't re-explain itself on your phone.
The world opens up
A hundred treasures, five regions, and the lore to match
Published the storybook lore: where your pet goes, why the treasures matter, and the no-guilt law the whole place runs on.
Opened the public Collection — all one hundred treasures across five themed regions, Common to Legendary.
Refreshed the look across the app with a warmer palette and cleaner icons throughout.
