The quick version: do real work, your pet thrives. Here's everything else.
MyWorkPet is simple: you do real work, your pet thrives. Finish a task and your pet earns energy and a handful of Little Treats. Feed your pet to send it out on an adventure, and it comes home with treasure, the collectible kind. You spend your treats dressing it up and kitting it out, and showing up day after day builds a streak. That's the loop. Do the work, care for the pet, watch the good stuff roll in.
Your pet lives on your desk and quietly roots for you. Two things tell you how it's doing: Mood and Energy. Mood is just how it's feeling, and finishing tasks and dropping by keeps it beaming. Energy builds up as you work — every task you complete tops it up by 10. To send your pet on an adventure you feed it, which it earns from the work you put in. So caring for your pet and getting your work done are the exact same action.
Tasks are the engine. Type whatever you actually need to get done into the Today box and hit Add. When it's done, tap the circle to check it off. Each completed task pays out 20 Little Treats and 10 energy, with a little pop to celebrate. There's a daily cap, 5 tasks on Free and 10 on Plus, so the game rewards a real day's work rather than a hundred fake to-dos. Keep it honest and the treats and treasure take care of themselves.
Adventures are where the magic happens. Feed your pet and you can send it off with a tap, whenever you like. A trip takes a few hours, so think of it like sending them out for the evening: while they're away you'll see a countdown, and when they return there's a knock at the door, tap to see what they found. Every trip brings home Little Treats and, most of the time, treasure. One little catch worth knowing: the more of your daily tasks you finished, the better your odds of a good haul. A full day of work means a better trip. Plus pets bring back two treasures a trip instead of one.
Treasures are the heart of the collection, and the thing most people miss at first, so here it is plainly: adventures find treasures, and there are 100 of them to track down. They're sorted into five themed sets of 20 each, and every treasure has a rarity, from Common all the way up to Legendary. The rarer ones turn up far less often, so pulling a Legendary is a genuine moment. Why collect them? Your collection log tracks every find, marks the new ones, and completing a whole set earns you a reward. It's the classic gotta-find-'em-all, and the only way to find more is to keep feeding your pet and sending it adventuring, which means keep doing your work. You'll find them all in the Treasure tab. If you want to nudge your luck, the shop sells boosts for an extra treasure or better odds on your next trip.
There are two currencies, and they're easy to tell apart once you know. Little Treats are the everyday gold kind, you earn them constantly by finishing tasks, claiming daily events, and adventuring. They're for the bulk of what you'll buy. Big Treats are the rare purple kind. You don't earn them from adventures — you pick them up from the odd daily event or by inviting friends, they come with a Plus membership, and you can buy them directly. They buy the special stuff: discounted prices, member-only items, and adventure boosts.
The shop is where your treats turn into good-looking gear. Most cosmetics can be bought with Little Treats, or with Big Treats for a better price, your call. Some items are member-exclusive, marked Members, and need both Big Treats and a Plus membership. There's also a Boosts tab: small one-time edges you pay for in Big Treats, like an extra treasure or look-harder for better rarity on your very next adventure. Buying something here doesn't dress your pet automatically, you put it on over in the closet.
The closet is the dress-up room. You can change your pet's Look (either a body colorway or one worn item, the closet shows one look at a time, so picking an item replaces the colorway rather than stacking on top), set a Scene backdrop, and add an Aura glow. Tapping a thumbnail only previews it, nothing is bought or worn until you press Save and enter at the bottom. At that point anything new gets bought with your Little Treats and equipped in one go. Items you can't afford, or member-only ones you haven't unlocked, are simply skipped.
A streak counts the days in a row you've shown up and cared for your pet. It's the quiet backbone of the whole thing: consistency is the point. Visit and do a little work each day and the number climbs, let a day slip and it resets. There's no penalty drama, your pet won't hold a grudge, but keeping a long streak is its own reward and a good reason to open the app even on a slow day.
Plus is the optional upgrade for people who want more room to play. It raises your daily task cap from 5 to 10 (so more treats per day), brings home two treasures per trip instead of one, opens up every daily event, unlocks member-exclusive cosmetics, and includes a monthly grant of Big Treats. Most of MyWorkPet can be earned for free, Plus just gives you more lanes. There's a short free trial if you want to try it on.
